I don't usually post long reviews but thought people with big phones would want to know how well this works. Just received the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra which weighs 7-1/3 oz, not exactly a light phone. I wanted to create a custom vertical mount that looks clean but also needs to be away from the cup holder and vent AND close to the input port for Android Auto to work. I bought it because it looked sturdy and had six magnets. I've been using the rectangular plate UNDER my protective case on the bottom of my phone for over a week now and I have to say it's holding up really well! The tablet does not interfere with the wireless charging on the bottom. The telescopic arm is metal with plastic fittings, and the rubber on the suction cup is impressively sticky. The cup has a pretty powerful effect if you also flip the lever to activate it. The only issue I have with this set is that the round panel has adhesive all over the side while the rectangular panel only has one tip. I have no idea why! I was hoping to glue it to the outside of the case, but there was no way this panel would stay on the textured back of the case with so little surface adhesive. Luckily, the six magnets hold the phone well every time I slide it under the case. I bought this because I wanted something that could be mounted more vertically, but I don't see why it wouldn't work just as well if glued to the top of the dash or an area on the windshield. I think it's as good or even better than any mount I've found in any store.
