These ink cartridges perform exactly the same as Brother OEM ink, but cost about a third less. You plug them in and the first print is perfect. In my experience, Brother printers do NOT have any problems with these "wrong" ink cartridges such as B. Recessed printheads, regardless of the price of the cartridges. The ONLY difference is the "question marks" that appear on the ink level icons. As long as you're still getting an accurate level status, it's not a problem. I will keep buying these "fake" because I see no need to spend money on "genuine" Brother ink cartridges (sorry Brother)!
