Review on Dorman 902 688 Coolant Thermostat Housing by Ricardo Tlaxcalteca

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good replacement for the original thermostat housing

I broke one of them on a car that was servicing a timing belt for a friend. I think I may have had a misaligned thermostat when tightening the fasteners. Revain to the rescue, one of the main reasons I chose this one was that I could get it overnight and I was in a hurry to get the job done. I'm usually suspicious of the Dorman brand as they tend to be low quality. But in this case it seems like a worthy part and it got the job done. I thought that such a piece of metal would probably be difficult to spoil, and so it turned out. It seemed fairly well made and got the job done without leaking. The gasket that came with it seemed to work well too.
