They have the texture of paper but should function like any other disposable plate.

I used 12" round cymbals as accents for my Hearth and Hand Magnolia black ceramic cymbals. My cymbals (ceramic) should be 10" but they are over 10 3/4" so they hide my bamboo cymbals a bit, the Brheez cymbals are great. The rest is used as everyday plates. They all had different tones and it really added character to the cymbals!
