Review on 🐶✨ Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites Adult Dry Dog Food: Lamb & Chicken Blend for Optimal Nutrition by Heidi Willis

My friend who used to work at Nutro recommended this pellet for my 27 lb terrier mix because she had a skin allergy related to chicken. He said this recipe was specifically designed for dogs with grain/chicken allergies. It worked! I gave it to her and the rash went away. But now Mars, Inc. bought Nutro and made major changes to this product to make it more profitable for itself. Namely, they added chicken meal as the second most important ingredient in this feed. This dog food has more chicken than rice so I don't know how they manage to call it "lamb and rice" - it should be "lamb, chicken and rice". I'm allergic to chicken, now I'm going to buy the 'Merrick Real Lamb & Sweet Potato Recipe', which is a bit more expensive but isn't misleading about the ingredients: it doesn't contain grain or chicken. I am very disappointed in Mars. to eliminate the main selling point of this food; that there is no chicken inside. and not to notify customers about the change :(
