A dull blade is best for the kitchen and dining room

I have never bought a knife with a dull blade. The bread knife itself is a good size and feels good in my hands. The balance is good. I only wish the serrated teeth had more "bite" like a sharp knife. The wave pattern on the knife is printed. This is not a natural pattern due to the way the steel is made.
