Occasionally there are bags that do not fit well on the inlet which allows fine dust to enter the main body and foul the entire compartment. From the engine intake filter to the bag holder, everything is covered in fine dust and should be cleaned thoroughly with another vacuum cleaner. Having to vacuum and then wipe with a damp cloth to complete the process is really unacceptable. The rubber seals appear to sag when inserted into the top surface of the bag, sometimes deforming slightly into thin ovals (this can be seen from the outside) and this creates a poor seal. This has happened 4 times in the last 6 months so it's not a one off event. Last year the engine burned out due to the failure of a bag, after a fight with Electrolux the unit was replaced under warranty. But you don't have to clean your vacuum regularly, you don't have to constantly check for bag damage and you don't have to be held liable for equipment damage when you use certified OEM accessories. Something went wrong in production and Electrolux needs to step in and fix the problems. I can try an aftermarket bag, but if OEM bags have this kind of variability, it could be a design flaw that no bag can fix.
