VG player, mediocre user interface

This is a review of the Berennis 16GB MP3 player with Bluetooth. The sound quality of this small player is very good. Compared to the size and quality of some other players I own, the Samsung YPK3 pictured was better overall in terms of usability and slightly better sound quality. The Zune in the photo had decent sound, a great UI, and great screen modes. Berennis features a full-featured audio equalizer with presets and user controls, as well as handy volume buttons on the side. Screenshots show that watching videos is a waste of time. I only found one converter that successfully converted some AVI and MOV clips to AMV that works on this player. I have created folders that are visible in the FOLDER VIEW, otherwise this area is empty. Easy Bluetooth connection to a set of external TDK speakers. Haven't tried it on the car. You can also see in the screenshots that the text is small and could be done better with both a larger font and a sans serif font. CONS The screen locked for me several times, I had to long press the "Start" button to reset the settings. Album covers are saved as thumbnails, sometimes the wrong thumbnail is shown for the song on/off button, which acts as a lock button and turns on automatically after about a minute, the volume buttons should be set to override the lock, but doesn't work like a repeat button. First. PROS Very good sound quality, good Bluetooth and FM radio. Well built and worth the money.

Cons
