These extra large acrylic boxes are ideal for storing embroidery bobbins. You are the perfect size! Now I have thread on the spools, no embroidery threads. I wrapped the yarn around the bobbins so I have patterns of all colors, textures and yarn weights available when creating new crochet designs. Bobbins hold yarn of any weight. In the picture in the upper left corner you can see yarn 6+, extra bulky. The other yarn you see in the box is DK (3wt). The drawers pull out fully so I can take my yarn sample box with me wherever I work on my designs. Sometimes it helps to take the yarn outside to see the colors in the sun. The cabinet is heavy and well made. It won't break if I sneeze on it. It might break if I brush it off a 6ft dresser, but then it's strong enough to stay intact. The cabinets stack well without sides as the small indentation on the top edge of each has a matching lip on the bottom allowing them to nestle together easily.
