Review on 🎶 Fosi Audio P1 Tube Pre-Amplifier Mini Hi-Fi Stereo Buffer Preamp 6K4 Valve Vacuum Pre-amp with Adjustable Treble and Bass Tone Control for Enhanced Home Theater and HiFi System Experience by Robin Smith

After years of thinking about tube amps, I finally decided to look into them. To be honest I was still skeptical. When I saw an opportunity to buy a tube preamp for less than $50 I thought why not. I've known the quality of Fosi since I bought one of their bluetooth stereo amplifiers during their Black Friday promotion. When it arrived today I put it between my Focusrite Scarlet Solo and Yamaha studio monitors. I turned it on and the sound quality improved immediately. I know it's cliché to say I heard parts of the music that never caught my eye, but that's exactly what happened. I then decided to swap the stock tubes for a Riverstone Audio 5654W, which I ordered along with the preamp. That's when the magic happened. I can only say wow. Standard bulbs are good, but the improvement in GE bulbs is overwhelming. I've listened to a few songs that I'm familiar with and you can hear subtle nuances, like the guitarist's hand sliding across the strings. I'm by no means an expert, but I believe the lamps accentuated various parts of the music that I hadn't noticed in the past. Everything sounds much smoother. It is hard to explain. This gives the music a feel of old-school analog music. I have to say this is the best money I've spent on audio equipment in a long time. If this amp is the top tier of tube amps then I can't imagine how good the high end stuff is. Plus, my tubes haven't even burned out yet! Well done Foxy Audio!
