If you like to stream games or anything else to be honest you should really try this. It's incredibly easy to use and the results are amazing. I've tested this little box in many trials and I'm still amazed. I enjoyed using the old HDML-Cloner Box Pro from the same company for a while. Not only does the Pro continue to perform well, the Cloner Alliance regularly adds new features through firmware updates and HDML-Cloner Pro Helper software updates. The Flint XL is simpler than the Pro, only with HDMI in/out and USB to connect to a computer. Unlike the Cloner Box Pro, this requires a computer (or phone - see below) and doesn't write directly to a USB drive. However, the video output quality is really impressive, the best I've seen on 1080p consumer hardware. Windows 10 recognizes Flint LX straight away (I don't have a Mac to try). It works flawlessly with OBS and some other third-party programs I've tried. The Helper software is constantly evolving and now includes a built-in server that streams your content over the network. The package also includes a USB-C OTG adapter to connect to your phone instead of a PC. There is an app that works great on my Pixel phone. I noticed that videos recorded with the highest quality setting produce files that are about the same size as HDML-Cloner Box Pro. Very good. Flint needs a fairly powerful computer to run smoothly at 60 fps, so check the requirements. A few words about Cloner Alliance support: This is the kind of support you can only dream of. I emailed the question and received a response within minutes. The answer wasn't copied and pasted from anything I could find online - it was a thoughtful, helpful answer to a very specific question. They are better.
