My daughter loves this skater jacket. Thumbholes prevent the sleeves from riding up when she moves, and since it's only black I was able to place a pretty monogram on the front. I took a picture in the dark regarding sizing but thought I'd write this review in case you're looking for sizing info. My daughter usually wears 8 or 10 tops and bottoms. Usually we're wrong by 10 because it's quite high. I ordered an adult size XS for her and it fits perfectly. The sleeves are a little long but not too long to look chunky or weird. Based on that, it's probably safe to assume that an adult S would fit a 12/14 child and an average adult would fit a 14/14 child. 16. This seems to make a grown L look more like a grown S.
