Motorola T200TP Radio what you need! - my review about it

In my review, today we will talk about such a wonderful walkie-talkie manufactured by Motorolla, the TLKR-T50 model, a little background, because I love the Enduro motorcycle class, and this is off-road forest, etc. I ride not one, with my brother. And so I thought about the need for a walkie-talkie in order to contact each other in which case. And the choice fell on this model. So, let's begin! Everything is packed soundly in a blister, after opening, we see 2 walkie-talkies and 2 holder clips for wearing a walkie-talkie on a belt, and an instruction manual. Let's consider them in more detail. The case is plastic, the sidewalls are made of rubber, everything is assembled with high quality, the materials are also not bad (does not stink of cheap Chinese plastic). On the front panel there is an LCD display with a green LED backlight, which is undoubtedly a plus in the dark, the walkie-talkie controls in the form of buttons (on, call, etc.), a grill under which a speaker and a microphone are hidden. On the side we have a button when pressed, which turns on the transmission of sound to another walkie-talkie. Next, I detached the back cover! Under it, a removable battery of Ni-Mh AAA batteries was waiting for us in the amount of 4 pieces, each with 800Mah and 1.2v, together the assembly produces 4.8v. For me, this battery is more of a minus than a plus, so Ni-Mh has the so-called " memory effect", and this is too ancient type of batteries, it would be more correct to install a Li-Ion battery there, since it is much more energy-intensive, and most importantly, it does not have a "memory effect". Next, we move on to actual testing. It is stated that radio communication is kept at a distance of up to 6 km. Let's check something! To begin with, my brother and I tested it in the city, at home and in general any buildings drastically reduce the communication radius, and sometimes the radio catches "foreign communication frequencies" which is not very good. After we went with him to the forest, in the forest, oddly enough, the signal comes with a bang at a distance of about 3 km. Based on the test results, I will tell you that the communication radius is 6 km. this is either a lie of the manufacturers or such a result can be achieved only in ideal conditions so that there are no objects interfering with communication, but in reality such conditions are difficult to find! The price of the radio is low, at least at the time of purchase, and this is 2014. it was about 2000 thousand rubles. For my purposes, the radio is quite suitable. It is now the summer of 2016, and even after this time, the radio has never failed, although I thought that the battery, to put it mildly, was not good, but no, the operating time practically did not change over time. I recommend to buy!
