Stand that cools (and looks cool with RGB lighting)

Bought for my 17 inch gaming laptop. Laptop screen height using the sturdy metal stand feature, although the bottom protrusions may not be high enough for some PCs (because the front bottom of my laptop tilts inward (e.g. contact with the protrusions on the bottom, luckily my laptop has a rubber tab on the Rear panel hanging down from the top of the cooling pad tray keeping it stable). The plastic feels solid and the metal mesh lid is also solid and seems to deflect well enough to heat up.The 180mm fan is nice even at max Settings (6) pretty quiet. My laptop's internal fans are much louder. Performance wise, I don't really notice that my laptop gets very cold during a hectic gaming session, but it noticeably reduces the cooling time after using the I've stopped gaming - if I go to my desktop and just start surfing, the laptop's heat dissipates s faster than before and my internal fans don't run as long afterwards. The only disappointment is the RGB system. Granted, the default looks pretty cool BUT my peripherals are set to a solid red. Although there is a button to select different color options (solid red is one of them), this feature never worked for me. It either stays red on both sides for about 30 seconds before reverting to wave mode, or it only does so on one side and not the other, or the color change button doesn't respond at all. I either just leave it on the first multicolor setting or turn it off altogether, but I really want the light to stay red to match my other stuff.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
