Review on 🌸 HT&PJ Fleece Throw Blanket: Luxurious Pink Flannel Microfiber Velvet - Cozy, Lightweight, & Warm (50 X 60") by Jessica Hill

I was redecorating my bedroom and couldn't find a blanket that was good enough but not pretty enough that I got frustrated as my cats clung to the fabric. So I threw this blanket on the bed instead of the old tattered blanket. I'm in love! I've been using it as a bedspread for just over 2 months and my 3 cats still haven't left a mark. I had hints of new sheets in less than 24 hours but this comforter still looks brand new! I bought an ivory blanket, it's a nice light color, not yellowish at all. The pattern adds a nice touch of interest to a solid color. I've washed and dried it about 5 times and it sheds no more than any other fabric in the dryer. He doesn't shed when my crazy Siamese cat tries to get him into submission. It doesn't even show any signs of wear in the area where my 15 pound cat likes to dig her claws into the edge of the bed and stretch before jumping up for a nap. It didn't get dirty even when a cat vomited onto the bed while I was away. I used a spot remover spray before washing and couldn't find the stain when it came out of the dryer. That's pretty impressive for an ivory quilt! In warm weather it's warm enough on its own to keep me warm in the air conditioner. The thermostat in my house is set at 73 for normal people. If it was just me, I'd bump it up to 78 or 80. It's December now and the temps are in the 30s at night and I've added a second microfleece blanket and that's enough to keep me warm without being heavy. I have 3 different types of arthritis and it hurts to put too much stress on my joints. Since putting this comforter on my bed I have not had to turn on a heated mattress pad. I bought a king size duvet for my queen bed. From the top of the mattress to the floor 25 inches. This blanket ends about 2 inches off the floor on both sides. I would like the duvet to be longer top to bottom as my bed has a low footboard. If I pull the duvet up to the top of the mattress, you can see the top of the box spring above the footboard. My current mattress is only 8 inches thick. If I upgrade to a thicker mattress, I have to put another duvet at the foot of the bed so the mattress isn't visible.
