In September I went on a hiking and culinary trip through Tuscany. Before I left, I thought about what could be useful on the way, mainly thinking about emergency situations. Little did I know there would be little shade on the trails (they don't call it 'The Tuscan Sun' for nothing). Well we had such good support on the trails and our guides had everything we could think of. EXCEPT the one who saved me. Easy towel loading! I'm blonde and the heat bothered me, so I soaked the towels in cold water and tied them around my neck. They offered great comfort. On another trip we rented a lovely house on Utah Beach in France for our 70th D-Day Anniversary We agreed with the owners on linens and towels but forgot to ask for TOWELS. Nothing was open to buy pool towels but I accidentally brought my three Lightload towels and believe it or not they were perfect. Simply wipe and squeeze out the water. Also, they dry quickly for the next use. Now I take them with me everywhere as they don't take up space. They even wash themselves in the washing machine! I haven't made a fire with it yet but I have given it to my kids who love to camp. Alright, let's check!
