It's easy to use but like many similar products changing the batteries is a hassle as you have to remove the Windslayer to get to the battery. I do not recommend cutting or trimming the product around the battery as this may affect noise cancellation. For the price this is a good deal. It does what you would expect for this price. I'm an MTB and only on very windy days or when going downhill fast does some of the wind pass through the product, but the reduction in wind noise is still quite significant than without it. I recommend it to others.
