I was looking for a replacement for my Logitech K830 as the function key is a bit annoying and the touchpad is not very good. My requirement is a thin backlit wireless touchpad keyboard. There aren't many options in this area. The Corsair K83 has an excellent backlight and a nice touchpad. The "joystick" keys are oddly placed and mostly useless, but otherwise the keyboard is mechanically superior to the K830. Edit: After updating to the latest firmware (19.05) remote keystrokes register much better. The touchpad in wireless mode is still pretty poor, limping or jumping back and forth everywhere. Also, the battery life is terrible. Enough for 2 days without use. The battery life of the K830 is several weeks. Hopefully one day there will be a wireless HTPC keyboard with a better backlight than the Logitech K830. However, this is not the case.
