Over the years I have used many, many different sizes of eyelets and used different types and thicknesses of fabrics from heavy canvas to light cotton. I just need a small sleeve to attach to the lavender sachet I made. I tried several times trying not to hit so hard but to no avail. The midshaft still folds in on itself so it snaps on the back about 70 percent of the time, but it looks broken and has rough edges. Tried a thicker material, thought the cotton was too thin and no. I will return to the famous brand and put up with it. These are gifts so I can't let them stick or look broken. There are no instructions but I didn't care because I already knew how to use it.
