This is a bleed valve, NOT a hand pump. If you have an air compressor, bleeding the brakes will be done by one person instead of two. Convenience is very beneficial as it saves a lot of time and makes work easier than usual. Supplied with two lines: one to bleed the brake lines and one to drain the brake fluid reservoir. The one for the brake line has a black nipple that seals the line perfectly. The siphon line is great because it has a bent hard plastic tube at the end that is held in place. It can ALSO be used to drain other fluids that do not have a drain plug (e.g. some transfer cases and differentials). Tip: Use a hose clamp (I used an earless clamp) to hold the plastic tube against the rubber hose (see image). Liquids can cause the tubing to detach from the hose. This didn't happen with the brake fluid, but when I cleaned it I noticed that the hose was loose. It's cheap insurance to make sure it doesn't come loose while fluid is being pumped and fluid gets everywhere. I had to attach a pressure bottle directly to the compressor because I didn't have a hose mount lol. Works perfectly. It will draw out the liquid when you squeeze the handle on the bottle. The blue handle is used to relieve pressure. Good product. Closes tightly and is easy to use. It becomes more versatile when you can get different hoses and sizes for different applications.
