You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for and for an under my bumper mounted light designed for use in fog lights that's all I'm willing to pay for. The idea is that if I encounter it off-road it can be replaced cheaply. The mounting brackets are very adjustable and seem to be very tight, which I'm fine with telling. QC did not catch the lack of insulation inside the power cord leading to the lamp. Electrical tape should prevent a short circuit from repeating itself. Harness is rubbish: too weak switch, no relay and too thin cable. I assembled my own trailer. I bought some cheap 100 watt H3 bulbs that were supposed to be yellow. Garbage. I'll come back to the included lamps after yesterday's test. Don't waste your time with $5 lightbulbs. However, if I can use the right lightbulbs, they will do their job well. Too bad they came with yellow lenses from the start.
