Excellent fit for less than $20

Lighting works perfectly as intended. I already have several of these sets. They only seem to last a year or two before the bulb burns out because the plastic case seals well and lets water in. The electrical connections and the back of the bulb will rust within a few years. The bracket is durable and will last a long time even though it will rust. The wiring is sufficient and works well. The relay can be easily replaced if necessary. The light output is excellent. For the price they are great…

When the phrase "You get what you pay for " springs to mind.

These driving lights remind me of those cheap 9 volt headlights you get for bikes. You barely have enough outside light to see where best to go. This is how the old headlights on my '95 GMC van started out looking, and I was hoping they would help illuminate things without high beam. I also wanted to have cool driving lights on the front of my van. Unfortunately, I find my old headlights actually brighter. The two sets together are only slightly better than the original headlights individually.

Pros
  • While satisfied

  • There are other interesting options.

Ok, more work needed

3 stars mainly because of the price. To do this, you need other basic connection accessories. 1) Do not connect this directly to the battery. Use Add Circuit on the in-car fuse box. 2) IMMEDIATELY turn off the built in fuse on the red wire and simply reconnect these wires. The fuse literally melts as other users have mentioned (see attached image). "Add circuit" from step 1 make sure they are on the fuse (which it should be). 3) Replace the switch with a better one. I opted for one with a…

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for and for an under my bumper mounted light designed for use in fog lights that's all I'm willing to pay for. The idea is that if I encounter it off-road it can be replaced cheaply. The mounting brackets are very adjustable and seem to be very tight, which I'm fine with telling. QC did not catch the lack of insulation inside the power cord leading to the lamp. Electrical tape should prevent a short circuit from repeating itself. Harness is rubbish: too weak switch, no…

Does the light not work or no longer work?

First, let's go to the main part and type in the title of the review. If you installed them and rely on your electrical skills, but they stopped working or barely worked to begin with, I found a weak point in the wiring. The fuse holder built into the red wire in this kit will melt. It heats up and melts. This leads to loss of contact. Pulling the fuse will test it well. In fact, however, it will not make contact with the connector in the holder. lame. Cut it from the wire and then install a…
