3 stars mainly because of the price. To do this, you need other basic connection accessories. 1) Do not connect this directly to the battery. Use Add Circuit on the in-car fuse box. 2) IMMEDIATELY turn off the built in fuse on the red wire and simply reconnect these wires. The fuse literally melts as other users have mentioned (see attached image). "Add circuit" from step 1 make sure they are on the fuse (which it should be). 3) Replace the switch with a better one. I opted for one with a backlight, which helped with troubleshooting when the fuse on mine eventually blew. Boom, now you have some nice fog lights for almost $30 exactly. I did my wiring so that in the future if I wanted to swap out the lights I could hook up almost anything to the other end of my wiring and it would just work.
