This was purchased for my 16 year old cat with longstanding IBD and frequent vomiting. I chose this brand due to the inclusion of Saccharomyces Boulardii, which I've read can be effective for gastrointestinal issues. While she's had her symptoms well under control, she's had a particularly frustrating flare-up after a recent move. I almost last ordered Nexabiotic fearing it might be time to give up. It arrived quickly and I started giving it to her once a day, opening it up and mixing it with some canned food. Three days later she started to get better. By the end of the week she was almost back to herself. IBD is difficult to manage and I think it's too early to say how well this will work in the long term. However, after almost a month of daily use, her condition and quality of life improved significantly. Although her symptoms didn't go 100% away, she became less likely to go to the tray. She also vomits less, sleeps more comfortably, has a better appetite and her masculine nature is coming out again. I find this product to be an excellent addition to an IBD compliant diet and good veterinary care. As long as I keep seeing results, she will keep taking it.
