Money down the drain!

What frustrates me most about this DVD player is that it puts me in a position where, from a distance, I could sound like a much older person. Example. They don't do things the way they used to! The fact that I can say those words makes me angry. There was a time when the Sony name was synonymous with quality. Sony player. Sony Discman. These were innovative products that changed the entire industry. So I bought this thing thinking it was Sony. How could I be wrong? So. It freezes so I can't move the image forward. I can't rewind either. I can't stop the video completely. The remote doesn't respond immediately, and if it does, the compartment doesn't open right away. Makes me throw the remote control across the room. I had it for about a month. May be. Probably less. At first everything was fine. Good enough that I feel confident enough to refuse the package. Now this crap. I can't return it. I can not help myself. $30+ in the restroom. And here I speak as someone who is 30 years older than me. You get what you pay for! I broke my first rule. When it comes to electronics, stick to brick-and-mortar stores so you can at least return them in just a drive if something goes wrong. Thank god I painted my apartment the other day or I would have thrown that thing on the wall!

Pros
  • Controlling TV functions with one multi-brand remote control
Cons
  • No power
