Value for money DVD player

This is a value for money DVD player suitable for TVs without HDMI input. It doesn't have an HDMI output. So if you need HDMI, Sony has a similar device with HDMI that costs $10 more. Most of the time I watch with a Blu-ray player hooked up to a Panasonic plasma TV, but I have a 35-inch Toshiba CRT TV in my bedroom that I use to copy old TV shows to DVD to watch, and this DVD player is perfect for that purpose. . If the paint doesn't work, swap the wires!

Unbelievable price! The image is very sharp and set up was easy with one issue. However, my husband could not bring himself to play in color. He watched several black and white films and said the picture quality was excellent, even in black and white. I read other reviews and knew it had something to do with the cables but when I told him about it he said he was using the cables that came with it so it couldn't be a problem. Money down the drain!

What frustrates me most about this DVD player is that it puts me in a position where, from a distance, I could sound like a much older person. Example. They don't do things the way they used to!
