UPDATE: This pump has been running for over a year now. I moved it to a 230 gallon tank with a second working alongside it. These pumps are a real find. They're consistent, quiet, and pump just like they should. I never worry about them, I don't have to regulate the flow or wonder how they are. When things went wrong in the past, my first concern was the pump. Not so with these. In fact I bought 4 more for my various tanks and one for my Ro/Di system. In the past I've had expensive pumps, name brand pumps and working pumps. The gearbox worked a little, but no better than this pump. You have earned my loyalty well into the future. I installed on a 90 gallon reef tank with a 36 gallon sump about 6 weeks ago. He exceeded my expectations. If rubber gaskets are used and the fittings are installed correctly, there will be no leaks. Yes, the adapters are flimsy and can break easily, but knowing that I took my time not to over-tighten or over-tighten when assembling, to ensure all connections would last. The pump is quiet. I don't hear him at all. The pressure from the sump to the indicator tank is normal. I would recommend this as a good solid budget pump that gets the job done.
