Review on 🍳 Goodevas Kitchen Helper Stool for Toddlers - High Rise Step Stool with Rails - Montessori Learning Tower in Beige by Anna Ingrassia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy, strong, amazing!

Let's talk about it. Goodeva's kitchen helper stool! GOOD: 1) Although it is made of plywood, the wood is durable 2) The design is versatile and forward-looking in terms of design and safety 3) Small children can easily get in and out of this chair and have fun doing it! THE BAD: 1) Assembly instructions for this are severely lacking, leaving the user often wondering if they are using the correct screw/bolt and if the parts are pointing in the right direction. BETWEEN: 1) The stool has holes to attach the seat back a little higher, but in this position the tray becomes useless due to the way it attaches to the seat back I am very pleased that Goodevas made this product from hard , dense wood. First off, Revain knocked the resin completely out of the box upon delivery. I'm not sure any other product would have survived such logistical abuse as Goodevas' product. Second, the robust construction of this product means it can withstand the punishments that toddlers can inflict on inanimate objects on a daily basis. I'm not afraid of anything being thrown, dropped, kicked, or knocked over around this thing. It would take a long time to damage it or tip it on its side. These points speak to the quality and safety that are synonymous with life with young children. This product tells me that Goodevas knows about it and cares a lot! Finally, this thing is dynamic when needed; From the chair to the art center, to the kitchen staircase. In terms of functionality, this product is great! Unfortunately, this product has a major downside. The included assembly instructions are terrible. While I'm glad Gudewas added *something* to guide the way, they could have put more effort into making the directions clear. The same type of screw is mentioned throughout the instructions, but assembly requires two types of bolts and one type of screw. The pictures are not detailed enough to tell which screw goes where. Much of the build process is trial and error until you figure out what goes where. Also, I appreciate Gudeva's foresight in providing additional openings to raise the seatback when needed. For growing children, this is a great and important feature. However, the tray table mount is attached to the top of this seatback. When the seat back is folded up, a tray table is supplied, which is placed in a position in which the arms should remain directly at shoulder height when using the chair. This mounting position would only make sense if it is a child who is probably too old to use such a chair. Thus, when the seatback is adjusted to a higher position, the tray becomes virtually useless. VERDICT: Despite some minor flaws, this product deserves each of its five stars. Compared to other high chair options on the market, this product is more durable (no chipboard! Yes!), more functional and nicer to look at. My daughter is a big fan of this device, she even uses it for her stuffed animals during her fake meals. Your parents are fans of this because of the attention to detail that goes into the design and manufacture of this product. All in all, this is a winner!
