These plates are big enough to serve appetizers or cupcakes, even a jelly roll if you like it. While this will be the main feature of the first set I'll order (not the jelly roll), I think I'll use it as a place to keep my wallet and keys in the hallway, a towel rack in the guest bathroom, space for remotes on the end table, space for jewelry in the bedroom, box of chocolates in the office, I could go on like this. They feel great and the simple yet sophisticated design fits just about anywhere you might use a rectangular tray, be it food or knick knacks. Great trays at a great price.
