Review on Modern Mango Wood Incense Stick Holder - Fire Resistant Wooden Ash Catcher For Home Décor by Angel Bright

Pretty, but Not Holding up Well

Update. This is fine as a decorative item, but as far as function, the paint comes off and it gets permanent little char marks after burning incense. (see photos) I've had this for quite awhile and I can see it's not going to hold up. I have a 25 yr old hand-carved, stained wooden incense box and burner combo and after all the use it's gotten, there's not one sign of damage to it after burning over a100 sticks of incense in it.Also, the holes in this burner are def too small to properly hold the majority of the Hem stick incense scents I burn. To be fair and completely honest, this was purchased solely for the light colored wood and flower design to match furniture and decor in a different area in my home. The quality of this item gets reduced to one star based on durability in comparison to the high price I paid.Original review. This is a pretty wooden incense tray that has 2 holes for incense sticks. The tray is nicely painted, but it was quickly damaged by falling incense ash which left little burn marks. Also, the holes for the sticks are really small. Most of my incense sticks are larger than the hole and it's been a problem getting them sized down for this holder.Overall.works if you have skinny incense sticks. Finish will get damaged with use. Price should reflect those flaws and this should be around $8-$10.
