I bought these for my upstairs neighbor and her boyfriend. A vegan "paella” is often served with every visit. And I mean A LOT. Other people might find it overkill, but I see it as a healthy break from her obsessive "crafting projects" involving the various Wahlberg brothers and sometimes their mother Alma. I appreciate this extraordinary family myself, but I think admiration can go too far. However. Are these towels absorbent enough to be wiped clean after intense paella cooking? This remains to be seen. I can tell you they are attractive enough and didn't shrink much after the first wash and dry.
