I have a 2007 Expedition with a 5.4 3V and have tried using this crankshaft alignment tool based on the positive feedback. I have no idea what engine people actually install this tool on (assuming the positive reviews are legit), but it's advertised as suitable for 5.4 and definitely isn't suitable for mine. Sure, I could sit down and file the keyway to fit the crankshaft keyway, but that's not necessary and would defeat my purpose for using the tool. Also, the hole is too small for the dowel pin. Should have just gotten an OTC unit from the rip but trying to make it cheaper as I only need it once. Got exactly what I paid for. cheap garbage
