I bought this because I'm trying to reduce toxins, especially xenoestrogens, and I read that this is normal. I was so skeptical. I opened one up first to see how it was. It is empty inside because the seed has been removed. This is good since you don't want seeds. I put some berries in a cup of hot water to test them. They made the water really soapy. I washed my hands with this liquid and my hands became clean. I washed off a slightly greasy oven with this liquid, washed the mirror with the same napkin and the mirror was clean and without grease. So I went into the bathroom and washed one side of the sink with water and a paper towel and the other side with soapy water, and the soapy side won hands down. I was all the more convinced that it really works. I washed and refilled the liquid soap dispenser and used it to wash my hands for several days. I've even tried it on my face. And on the third day I poured it over my head in the shower because I heard it was good for the scalp. The liquid I made didn't have any preservatives, so I didn't want to store it for too long. So now I've made it work. The seller sent the nuts in a nice cloth bag and there was also a smaller bag for washing. There was also a small bottle of Extreme Laundry Soap, which this guy also sells. I was still a bit skeptical about how well 6 nuts would clean the laundry, especially some of them smell bad. So I put 7 nuts in the bag. Still concerned, I placed it in a mug, added boiling water, and squirted it all around. Wow, that was soap. I'm better now and I put the bag in the laundry. I was really amazed at how clean my laundry smelled. I secretly washed the walnut bedding to see if my husband would complain etc and he said the bed smelled fresh. The other day I washed a shirt that was sweaty and smelly and it came out clean. I also tried Extreme X and it works great too. It only takes 1 teaspoon per charge. I wish I had this when I went to the laundry as I could stuff a whole batch of soap in my purse. Good product.
