On the recommendation of our IT support I ordered this printer for my boss. This is the boss' review: I bought this printer because I print a lot of documents every day. From day one I had nothing but problems. In addition to the cost of a new printer, we had to pay our IT for at least 2 trips to the office and numerous remote sessions trying to fix things (which they temporarily fix). It's a lemon since day one! The first thing he started doing was printing garbage at the top of the page (not a document...just garbage), for pages and pages. I just had to open the paper drawer for it to stop! Next, it gave me errors when adding paper (or other times for no reason). It will only be printed if it has been adjusted. Today, after our IT guy retired from his third visit, the printer was factory reset printing double sided - again! If I want it to print single-sided, I have to go into the settings and change the defaults... for each and every document I print (email or documents). I've never had such a bad experience with typography in my 25+ years of practicing law. I would be rich if I billed HP for the time spent on this printer! We pay for a new printer, we pay for its repair - but only temporarily - and we pay for wasted time working with a useless printer! And every time it is "fixed" it slows down print times - that was one of the reasons I bought the printer in the first place! After this experience I will never buy an HP product again!
