Rotten meat smell comes out of the fridge where nothing else would! It doesn't actually smell like anything, the activated charcoal only WORKS to absorb the smell. He doesn't even smell bad after he's done his job. I have read many testimonials from Katrina victims that this has saved them from buying a new refrigerator. Definitely recommend to everyone to solve problems with odors in the fridge. Would be good for general use (better than that box of baking soda that just sits there, believe me) as well as hard cases like those fridges with a "stuck" smell of mold from leaving it in a warehouse closed and the door is as tight as your wife told you not to do it.
