I actually bought these stoppers to help my grand total of over $25.00 so I could get free shipping on something else I wanted. I have the yellow and blue cork from Carolina. I used a yellow plug to plug the drain hole in a ski room on a boat. Sometimes bilge water splashed through the drain hole into the ski room leaving an oily film on the carpet and skis. This connector just fits. I don't drink a lot of wine because my wife doesn't drink and I hate drinking an entire bottle of wine by myself so I didn't use it to stopper the bottle at the moment. The corks are well done and I know the blue one would be great for a wine bottle (it's meant to be used as intended).
