I expected them to be comfortable but you need two hands to put them on or take them off. So forget about holding something like a book in one hand and putting on glasses with the other. It's not going to happen. In terms of style, they're readers, so I wasn't expecting much. They're well made, but the frames and lenses (1.25x) are very thick compared to my other readers. You probably need to be strong to handle the mechanics. However, when worn on the head, they are very comfortable and work well. Just remember that you can't wear them to bed. The frame on the back of your head presses against the pillow and takes the glasses off your face. For me it should be a traditional band.
