Only one battery is mentioned at the moment, but the quoted 30+ hours is a long way off. Get less than 12, charge overnight, son starts using and turning on at 9am, then dies at 8pm. Will try other batteries then maybe I'll update this review when they're around, maybe I've got a bug. Update: Other batteries seem better but still not nearly as good as advertised. It also takes 6-8 hours to charge. I use a 2 amp plug, that should do the trick. I'll swap and see what happens. Update January 2021: It's been 18 months and only one battery is left, the other 3 have broken tabs securing the cover to the controller. Fosmon sent me 2 new packs but after a few weeks they broke too, so 5 broken in total. The lugs only appear very thin and cannot withstand constant replacement. Since my son puts on a watch instead of a charge controller, we just change the batteries and charge them one at a time, but this requires constantly removing the blocks. I think if they kept at it they could keep. I didn't have this problem with my electric fence. I only exchanged it due to a recall, but now I'm buying a different brand. Reduced to one star for all of the above issues.
