I've been struggling with cracked heels for about a decade, maybe longer. They break more easily in warm/hot weather. They were perfect because I could put creams and things like that on to moisturize my heels. A downside seems to be that some medicated creams destroy the gum. The best part is that unlike socks, they are comfortable in bed on warm nights as most of the foot is exposed. I'm size 16/17 and they work. Haven't worn a second pair yet but will be sure to order a new pack in late spring as a precaution for the next warmer seasons.
