Out of about 5 different brands of high quality 19 Silkworm Momme silk pillowcases I've bought from Revain for between $20-$30, this "Beauty of the Orient" wins for silkiest of all silks. Feeling! Each brand feels silky as it should be, but this fragrance has a particularly rich and juicy softness to the touch. I always hand wash my silk pillowcases in Woolite with cold water before use, wrap them in a dry towel to remove the water and lay them out to air dry, usually flat on an ironing board. This cushion cover has been washed very well several times with no noticeable loss of color and dried with minimal creases, it has regained its fabulous silky smoothness! I change silk pillowcases every few days and this one is now my favorite! Bravo, beauty of the East! Do you want to know what else I noticed? The interior has the best, well-stitched and tightest seams of several different brands I've bought in this price range. The hidden zipper works smoothly, each end of the zipper is actually finished with a straight and neat French stitch, not just cut and hardly nailed at a weird and crooked angle like an afterthought. It really is a little attention to the little details like this that will help your brand stand out from the vast array of other silk pillowcases, so don't start skimping! From the superb silky quality to the attention to detail in the interior finishing, I really want to buy more Beauty of Orient silk pillowcases!
