One thing I really liked but missed was the diner style mustard and ketchup bottles. Of course you can buy spices in their own bottles, but everything I've tried so far leaves a lot to be desired. They either release too much product or they crust up when opened, or both. When I stumbled across them, I had to have them. Some reviews say the markings have come off. I did not. I think I also saw one who said they were brittle. Mine aren't. They don't seem as strong as the '60s ones, but then what? Maybe I'm bigger and stronger than I was then. I've only used mustard and ketchup so far. I'm waiting to break a new mayonnaise jar to fill this one. The price is high only for mustard and ketchup bottles; Mayonnaise is a bonus. For those of you who like to shake the mustard and ketchup first to mix the separating liquid, you'll need to hold your finger over the tip opening while shaking. Interestingly, I never got anything on my finger (trapped air?) during this process. When you need a thin strip of mustard or ketchup that you can easily dose and control, this kit is for you.
