I have unilateral chronic sacroiliac joint problem. It hurts to sit on a semi-hard surface. I feel comfortable just sitting on a soft surface. At home on the couch, my sacroiliac joint rarely bothers me. But in my truck I get severe pain if I drive for more than an hour. No medication works and believe me I've tried several. I bought this pillow because our annual mountain vacation was approaching which means a 6 hour drive. The day came to go to the mountains and I was afraid of it. But this pillow has eliminated most of the pain while driving. The pain has decreased significantly. We were in the mountains for 6 days. On the way back I had NO PAIN at all. I am VERY happy with this pillow.
