I have always bought my daughter shorts to wear under skirts and dresses so her underwear is not visible when she is playing, but I thought it would be good for days when it's a bit cooler or for dresses that seem very short to her because she's tall. These capris were perfect! They're so soft (she's very picky about the comfort of things), the colors go well with her clothes, they wash well, I really have no complaints! The lace is also a pretty little touch that she really likes. They are quite thin, you may find them too thin to wear alone with a shirt but as I bought them under dresses they are perfect for her.
