Review on Enhance Cabinet Lighting with Durolux LWL7W40 F13T5 Retrofit: Direct Upgrade Solution by Jeremiah Butler

These lights were purchased to replace the lighting in my dining room in my Toyhauler RV. I received 5 lamps in a cardboard tube that came in the box (no packaging). When I installed the replacement light tubes, they were defective. a conventional fluorescent tank is illuminated from all sides. LED lights only direct light in one direction. The problem is that when replacing the LEDs, the contacts are offset by 45 degrees. If you insert replacement LED bulbs and then rotate them 45 degrees, the light will now shine sideways instead of down. They had to make the pins what they are at a 45 degree angle. I think the lighting is fine in my situation as my 'table' light is mounted on the back of my RV so I installed new replacement LED bulbs so they are both 'facing' forward so the light is aimed at the front of my RV. The LEDs are bright enough, I just wish their pins were 45 degrees different and that would be great!
