Quality tube amp at an amazing price

This is a great quality multifunction amp that is very impressive at this price point. I'm writing this review after using it for about a week so I can get a feel for it and allow my ears to adjust. I ordered the T4 to drive a pair of 8 ohm PSB Alpha 3 speakers at the recommended amp rating. from 10 to 80 watts. The other components are a Schiit modi DAC with high-resolution sound source coming from the iMac. I would describe the sound quality as accurate, with a slightly warm undertone, as one would expect from tubes. The amplifier drives the speakers well enough to hear in the near field. For albums recorded at low volumes (some classical music) I had to turn the volume up quite high, but overall it was more than enough for my speakers. I also have an Aiyima A07 amp rated at 300w x 2. As you'd expect, the power difference between the two is noticeable and the A07's sound profile is steeper. I also feel that the soundstage sounds a bit more layered on the T4 than on the A07. Setup was easy with the included power adapter; I got up and started working in 5-10 minutes. The Bluetooth antenna is a great bonus feature rarely found on tube amps in this price range and the audio quality streaming from my iPhone was great. No communication problems walking around in the 1 bedroom apartment. It's nice to be able to switch to Bluetooth and allow guests to stream videos from their phones straight to your system. The tubes supplied are of high quality and I appreciate the opportunity to try a range of different tubes in the future. For those new to audio, keep in mind that you probably don't want to leave this or any tube amp on all the time, as all tube amps get hot and the tubes wear out. However, good lamps are also relatively inexpensive, so this is not a major problem. Last but not least, it looks great! I personally love the vintage pipe aesthetic and this kit has a lot more character than the usual gray black box. Since I don't have much space, I prefer these smaller amps to a huge black box receiver. The build quality is really solid - I'm glad it's the newest addition to the mix.
