Excellent desk lamp. Brass goes well with our eclectic and steampunk vibe. It features easy-to-use locking mechanisms on 2 pivot points. It's heavy enough not to be knocked over. It is very easy to use with just one button. There are 3 levels of light that you can click through and then turn off with another click. I like the first "warm" level. I took pictures of all 3. The other two are bluer. Once you reach the color you want, you can tap (and hold) the button again to make the level lighter or darker. Stop touching the button when you reach the desired level. Honestly, it's not that difficult. Don't panic because you only have one button! There is a whitish plastic cover over the LED bulbs. As the description says, the bulbs are not interchangeable. I hope this lasts a long, long time. like years and years. We have two on each side of the sofa and are very happy with them.
