Advantages: stylish appearance. A minimum of features means a minimal learning curve. 1.3" (45mm) face, metal body. Heavy duty buttons. Heavy duty straps. Water resistant (the manual says it's not saltwater resistant and I haven't tested that yet). I shower with it and haven't had any issues. Long battery life : To clarify, the watch will stay on for 11 days if used all day, but for the last 48 hours or so the battery is too low to support any functions other than the watch 4 hours to charge the watch functions : Heart rate monitor, stopwatch, timer, sport modes: you tell the watch when you start exercising (walk, run, bike or swim) and it measures your time and calculates your workout. When not in sport mode, tracks the watch keeps counting your steps and calories but doesn't know if you are exercising or not. There are 2 buttons on each side of the watch. You can set one as shortcut to the other two sports modes Pulsme sser: This feature is best used when you wear the watch on the inside of your wrist, where your heart rate is measured. largest Even in this position, the heart rate function is not very accurate. In the app you can set your resting heart rate and your target heart rate, which improves accuracy. Sleep Tracking: The watch detects when you're in a deep and light sleep, but the data is stored in an app on your phone, meaning you won't see any information on your watch. Texts and calls: With the watch you can read incoming texts (no MMS, photos or emoticons), see incoming calls and reject a call so the phone doesn't ring. But you can't answer texts or take calls with the watch. In the phone app, you can enable/disable receiving text messages and see incoming calls on the watch. Phone Locator: The watch has a menu that allows you to enable/disable the following features: Heart Monitor, Denial of Disturb (DND), Turn Detection (On means the watch will wake up when you turn your wrist; Off means that it stays in sleep mode until you press the button) and Find My Phone. In the application on the phone you can enable / disable the "Find my phone" function. If you have it turned on and select it on your watch, your phone will ring - even if it's on, do not disturb, vibrate, or mute! Music Player: The watch has no speakers, so the music player function is just a remote control for your phone. In the app you can specify which music app you want to use to control the watch. The charging cable is a USB charger, which is nice. The side that connects to the watch is easy to use and the watch snaps into place well. The application has many useful features that allow you to customize the clock to your needs. There's even a female menstrual cycle tracker - if you turn it on through the app. Cons: Cannot be customized. You can't add apps to the watch, and you can't change the order of icons or submenus. Screen protectors are hard to come by, and due to the curved edges of the display, the best ones don't cover the entire surface of the watch. I think my next smartwatch will have a round face because these screen protectors are easier to find and I don't think round watches have a beveled/rounded edge. The charging cable is only about 12 inches long. The watch slowly wakes up when you turn your wrist to see what time it is. Screen brightness: You can only choose one of 3 brightness levels. There is no such thing as "always". on the display. It is not possible to prevent the watch from sleeping even if you use the timer or stopwatch function.
