I bought some small, low profile, IC tested LED lights to test for an upcoming project. I first bought the 3 inch version of this flashlight along with the 4 inch version of other brands that have a similar product. The build quality feels solid and the ability to aim in any direction is very good. When adjusted it holds its position well and doesn't slip, which was an issue I had with a similar NickLED device. When paired with a Lutron TGCL-153PH dimmer, the light was fully dimmed with no flickering or buzzing. comes with is the prettiest of several brands I've tried. It opens and closes with a secure click, has two wire openings and a quick connect for in and out. Get back to me quickly with PDFs of the data. Curiously, test data for a 3-inch display shows 733 lumens, while the box says 600 lumens and Amazon's description says 500 lumens. The 4-inch light also has different lumen outputs: 1000 in the test data, 900 in the display and 780 on the packaging. the same exact size as 3" at 1 1/2" diameter. I plugged them all in and tested them with a light meter in a darkened room. I got the exact same readings from each of the 109 lux at 12ft. Of course, this isn't a lab setting, but they shouldn't be close if the difference in light output is anywhere from 180 to 400 lumens. luminous flux of lamps. If you're thinking about it, save a few bucks and buy a 3" light as it looks the same in a different case.
