Great addition to a kennel! Cannot have materials that retain water. Hay is one of the best types of bedding, comforters hold water (I'd rather have a dog inside). Water repels the silver parts of this product. The silver part is the same as the emergency blankets they have for humans. The edges where the black foam sits between the two silver sides can potentially get wet. Ideally, you can tape this over if you're worried. One dog I know that lives outside was able to fit in their kennel with spare material, so I taped the edges and back of the kennel and added more insulation/capacity to reflect body heat. Size, knowing I could cut it but don't have to. If needed, it would be easy to cut. I'm glad I was able to potentially insulate/reflect this outdoor dog's body heat better. She loved the dog toys I brought her too! I hope she learns how to use the new transparent door in the house (owner notified to verify).
