I've been using this machine for a few weeks and I really like it. I sew with outdoor fabrics for hammocks, duffel bags, outdoor gear etc. The B35 handles fabrics very well and the different settings on the machine helped a lot. I've sewn almost every day since I got it so I've put in at least 30 hours so far and haven't had a single problem. It really was an immaculate car. The biggest disadvantage for me is that it is not a top loading coil. I hate not being able to see how much thread is left in my spool and sewing with Silnylon and similar fabrics is a real pain when I run out of thread. The only other minor disappointment is that the machine lags a bit at high speeds. If he had a little more weight that would be great. I was just really happy with how well it works and that there are no issues. A lot of research was done to decide what would be good for me to buy and I had several salespeople at different stores trying to get me to say I had to pay $500 or more to avoid breakages . I disagree and so far the Bernette 35 has been very reliable. The attached photos show the projects I have done with this machine.
